Back to creation...
After one month of happy holidays, i'm so glad to come back to my cutting mat !! :)
I'm full of inspiration and energy and i will show you new sculptures very soon ! Hope you will like them ! ;)
See ya !
:blowkiss:
Thank you !
These days had been great !
I had a "Daily Deviation surprise" for "The Princess and the pea" book sculpture, lot of great compliments, I finished my big and long artwork about "Neuschwanstein Castle" and feedback were very enthusiastic, artistic projects are coming, I'm fool of inspiration with the next sculpture and it's turning really nice... so I just wanted to say thank you ! You are a part of the magic I'm living ! :) My english is certainly not perfect, but I am sure you understand what i mean !
See you soon for the next book sculpture and don't stop your feedback, it's part of my fuel ! ;)
Karine.

WIPs and news here:
h
I'm back soon with a new book sculpture !
I've been quiet for 2 years because my health needed all my attention (and more), but now i feel good, i'm back to my cutting mat and working on a special project ! And i'm so happy and so excited !!
If you are curious and cannot wait for the final shot, you can have a look at the WIP on Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/KarineDiot.BookArtist/
For this special new book sculpture, i wanted something personal and very symbolic. So i chose to make a link between an Andersen fairy tales old book (my artist part) and the fabulous Neuschwanstein Castle which i visited last summer and which represents a new beginning in my (new) life.
So join
Litterature school book...
Belin Editions asked me few months ago the permission to publish pictures of one of my book sculptures in their future school book.
I was honored and now i have received the book, it's a real pleasure to see that for real ! :)

This was very well put together Karine, almost as well as on of your book sculptures.
